Refund policy
Effective date: October 9, 2026
Workflow templates (digital downloads)
Templates are digital downloads delivered right after payment, so sales are final once the files have been downloaded.
The exception: if the files are corrupt, missing, or materially different from the product description, email hello@halterhomelabs.com within 14 days of purchase with your order number and what’s wrong. We will fix it or give you a full refund.
Custom video services
Requesting a quote is free. You pay nothing until you accept our quote and pay the invoice.
Cancelling a paid project:

If you cancel after approving the script and storyboard, you also get everything we’ve finished up to that point, under the same usage license as a completed video.
If we’re late, or can’t do the job. If we miss the delivery date in your quote for a reason on our side, you can cancel and get a full refund, whatever stage the project is at. The same applies if we cancel your project for any reason. See “If we run late” in our Terms of Service.
Not happy with the result? Your quote includes 2 revision rounds so we can get it right. Tell us what isn’t working and we’ll fix it within the agreed scope. If the final video doesn’t match the approved script and storyboard and we can’t fix it, we’ll refund you.

Requesting a quote and the discovery call are free. You pay nothing until you accept the written scope and pay the invoice.
Cancelling a paid project:
- Before work starts: full refund.
- After work starts: your written scope sets out what you get back at each stage. You also get the work finished up to that point once it’s paid for.
- If we’re late, or can’t do the job: if we miss the delivery date in your scope for a reason on our side and you cancel, or if we cancel the project, we refund everything you paid for work we haven’t delivered.
Not happy with the result? If something we deliver doesn’t do what the written scope says, tell us within 14 days of handover and we’ll fix it at no charge.
How refunds are paid
Refunds go back to your original payment method within 7 business days of our approval. Your bank may take a few more days to post it. We don’t deduct processing fees.
